This selection has deep blue-black spherical heads of star-shaped flowers on upright stems. The flowers emerge from near black buds. The foliage is glossy green and is a clump-forming perennial. Flowers from mid-summer and thrives in full sun and a well-drained soil. It also does well in containers.
