Salvia dombeyi

This unusual Salvia has fragrant heart shaped foliage bearing amazing bright red hairy flowers that get to 9cm in length with deep purple calyces. The frost tender perennial gets to 2.5m in height. Thrives in full sun and a well-drained soil. Flowers from Summer into Autumn.

This Salvia is tender so it will need to be brought in during the winter.
