Agapanthus ‘Navy Blue’

15.00

A bold, clump-forming perennial producing dense umbels of deep navy-blue, trumpet-shaped flowers held on tall, sturdy stems above strappy green foliage. ‘Navy Blue’ brings strong vertical structure and rich colour to sunny borders and containers, flowering at the height of summer.

Plant Details:
• Common name: African Lily
• Position: Full sun (best flowering)
• Height & spread: Approx. 80–100cm x 40–60cm
• Flowering: July – September
• Soil: Well-drained, moderately fertile soil; performs well in pots with good drainage
• Hardiness: Hardy to half hardy (more reliable in mild Irish gardens or sheltered positions; mulch or protect crowns in colder winters)
• Pollinator friendly: ✔ Yes
• Something to note: Flowers best when slightly root-bound, making it excellent for containers; remove spent flower heads to encourage longer display and maintain a tidy clump
