Athyrium niponicum ‘Burgundy Lace’

A dramatic deciduous fern that forms rosettes of arching fronds that are a rich burgundy purple as they emerge from the plant. As they age the fronds change to a silvery green but retain their purple mid-rids and silvery sheen. Shady moist borders. Height 30-60cm.
