Dryopteris wallichiana

10.00

A striking, upright evergreen fern known for its elegant, architectural form and rich contrasting colours. Fresh fronds emerge in spring with a warm bronze flush, unfurling into deep green, finely divided foliage held in a graceful shuttlecock-like crown. The dark, almost blackish midribs add strong definition and give the plant a refined, almost exotic appearance in shaded gardens.
