A cheerful, early-flowering perennial that brings warm, sunset-toned colour to spring gardens. This form of cowslip produces clusters of nodding, bell-shaped flowers in soft shades of yellow, apricot, orange, and rose, held on slender stems above low rosettes of wrinkled green leaves. It naturalises gently in suitable conditions, creating a meadow-like effect over time.
